EUGENE, Ore. Eastern Kentucky University junior Ole Hesselbjerg cruised to second place in his heat of the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase semifinals on Thursday night at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at historic Hayward Field. In doing so, Hesselbjerg automatically advanced to the finals of the event, which will be held Saturday at 6:00 p.m. ET.
