INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Jerry England Alumni Open on Saturday in their season opener.

Carmetrick Ross led the men's side, breaking his school record of six feet and six inches in the men's high jump and earning a national 'B' cut with a height of six feet, eight inches. He finished in first place at the event after reaching 2.03 meters, .08 meters better than the next competitor.
