WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Desmond Mobley won the long jump, Dondre Mimms set a program record in the 200 meter dash, and the Lindsey Wilson men's team finished day one of the 2016 Mid-South Conference Track & Field Championships at James H. Taylor II Stadium in first place.

Mobley, who earned MSC First Team honors by winning the long jump, recorded a national "A" standard jump of 7.22 meters (23-08.25 feet) to earn 10 of the Blue Raiders' 56 total points.
