GENEVA, Ohio - Sharon Ronoh finished the preliminaries of the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17 minutes and 48.67 seconds to qualify for the finals on Saturday at the NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships at the GaREAT Sports Complex on Thursday.

Ronoh's time -- which sets a school record in the event --was good for 13th place overall, while Lauren Jimison from Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University recorded the top preliminary time of 17:21.79.
