The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Cross Country teams opened up their season by competing in the Queen City Invitational in Mason, Ohio on September 5th.  Both the UC men and women's teams competed in the 5K event.  The men placed 12th out of 24 teams with 364 points and the women placed 8th out of 21 teams with a total of 251 points.  It was a hot and humid day for UC, but many Patriots ended the day with successful results.
