COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team won three meets during the season, finished second in the Mid-South Conference, and sent two runners to the NAIA National Championship in Nikki Coffey and Maria Cozzens.

The Blue Raiders scored 28 points to finish first-of-three NAIA teams competing at the Belmont Open in Nashville, Tenn., on Sept. 5. Coffey, who was the first NAIA runner to finish the 5,000 meter course, ran a time of 19:24.0. Cozzens was the second NAIA finisher in a time of 20:44.1. Rounding out the Blue Raider top five were Allyson Davis, who was the fourth NAIA finisher in 21:40.4, Mia Cornette, who was the the eighth NAIA finisher in 22:56.6, and Abbie Chandler, who was the 13th NAIA finisher in 23:12.8.
