[Men's Cross Country] Year in Review: 2015 Men s Cross CountryPublished by
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team raced its way to a pair of second-place finishes this season, and John-Paul Williamson tied the record for career races won as a Blue Raider and became the seventh NAIA All-American in program history. Williamson, who is tied with David Mutuse for first place in career victories at Lindsey Wilson with six, propelled the Blue Raiders to a second-place finish at the Mid-South Conference Preview Meet on Sept. 26 with his first individual win of the season. He broke the tape with a time of 25:44.7. The next Blue Raider to finish the 8,000 meter course was Austin Childress, who came in 10th-place overall with a time of 28:16.5. Rounding out Lindsey Wilson's top-five finishers were Clay Priddy in 16th place with a time of 28:45.2, Zach Carr in 20th place with a time of 29:07.7, and Ben Hoffman in 27th place with a time of 29:38.9.
