It was out of the gates quickly and with the results both men's and women's cross country coaches Todd McDaniel and Betsy Laski knew were possible.

Both teams won the Asbury University Invitational Thursday in an amazing start to the season. Laski's women scored a perfect 18 points on the hilly course in the heat of the afternoon race, while McDaniel's men were not far off that mark with 22 points.
