[Track & Field] Tigers make best of rain weekend, race in DanvillePublished by
Georgetown College men's and women's track and field had to shift game plans with the rain washing out the meet at Bellarmine University. The Tigers picked up a day meet at Centre College. The women finished eighth out of 16 teams, while the men were 11th out of 15. Tayler Godar led the women with a second and third place finish in the 800-meter and 1,500-meter runs respectively. The women's 4x100-meter relay of Keyvin Parker, Jade Abbott, Tralyn Woodard and Kaya Kelly were 12 hundredths of a second off the GC record and finished third. Ashlee Howe and Shelby England stacked points in the high jump. Howe finished fourth and England eighth. Bea Cameron and Haley Carr both placed in the points for the 100-meter hurdles.
