Georgetown College men finished just a fraction of a point from fourth and were within four points of third at the Mid-South Conference Championships this past weekend. It was a huge leap forward for the men, finishing seventh a year ago and only tallying 45.5 points against the league foes. This year the Tigers tallied 122.5 points just behind Shawnee State University's fourth place finish of 123 and University of Rio Grande edged them out by 3.5 points for third. "We competed well today and had opportunities," said GC Todd McDaniel. "This program is getting stronger, and I couldn't be more proud of the accomplishment today."
