[Cross Country] Tiger harriers testing G-MAC competition in Cedarville meetPublished by
Georgetown College men's and women's cross country went to Cedarville University Saturday to check out the competition of what they could be facing when the Tigers enter the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The women finished sixth out of 12 teams and Indiana Wesleyan and University of the Cumberlands were the lone NAIA teams ahead of them. The men finished seventh out of nine teams with the same NAIA schools edging them. "It was a good day," said women's coach Betsy Laski. "We just have to keep taking steps forward. It is hard to explain the sport to those outside, but it isn't really about the finish as much as the time and seeing our runners getting better."
