Danielle Buford helped Georgetown College women's track and field team set the tone early in Williamsburg, KY Saturday. The junior from Louisville won the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash in school and personal record times as the Tigers went on to finish third out of 15 teams.

"It was an awesome day for us as a team and Danielle was a huge part of that," said GC coach Betsy Laski. "We got to see a couple of our conference opponents and were only behind (University of the) Cumberlands."

The host Patriots finished second with 125 points, while Centre College won with 144. Buford's 20 points were huge as Georgetown finished with 85.50.
