Georgetown College men's and women's track and field teams competed against the likes of Eastern Kentucky University, Transylvania University and several other big programs Saturday in the Centre Invitational.

The Tigers finished ninth on the men's side and 13th on the women's, but overall had a good day.

"It was a solid day for us," said GC men's coach Todd McDaniel. "There was a lot of good competition, so we didn't finish that high in the team scoring, but a few new school records were set on both sides. All and all it was a good day."
